In the Kitchen at Cedar Hill- Cedar + White Tea

When Washington D.C. was first established as the nation’s capital, Joseph Nourse moved onto the estate, which was known as Cedar Hill. Dinah, an enslaved woman, was the cook at Cedar Hill where she lived and worked along with her children. This scent is inspired by recipes and meals Dinah prepared in the kitchen.

Custom made candles from local business Lita + Ro. Each candle is based on the experiences and smells of Dumbarton House's historic residents and modern visitors.
